Jennifer Herbert

Jennifer Herbert is a weather enthusiast who grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. After high school, she moved to Central Florida where she performed for the two biggest theme parks in the United States. On any given day she could transform into a flying British nanny, a towering stilt walker, or be casting a spell on the largest stage in the area. Jennifer was also fortunate enough to perform on a cruise ship for one of the leading names in the cruising industry. While living in Central Florida, her interest in the weather increased after watching the meteorologists deliver hurricane coverage.

It was in 2017, during hurricane Irma, that Jennifer knew she wanted to pursue meteorology. Jennifer made the decision to shift her career, packing up and moving to Starkville, Mississippi to pursue a degree in broadcast meteorology. While attending school, Jennifer worked at WVUA23 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, serving as the weekend meteorologist. Jennifer’s incredible journey has taken her across the United States to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in Eugene, Oregon. Jennifer is thrilled for the opportunity to bring you the forecast, keeping you up to date on all the local weather. “I look forward to immersing myself in Eugene’s culture, taking in all that the area has to offer.
