LYONS, Ore. - A lumber truck crash closed OR 226 Albany-Lyons Highway on Tuesday while crews worked to clear the truck from the road and repair a downed power line.

Oregon DOT Trip Check shows only the westbound lane affected as of 12:22 p.m.

But a press release from ODOT at noon indicated the road was closed and was "expected to be closed for several hours."

In a followup message at 1:15 p.m., ODOT said "passenger vehicles may use Jordan Road and Camp Morrison Drive to detour, but that route is not available for semitrucks because of a load-restricted covered bridge."
