Police: Witnesses stop DUII suspect after hit-and-run in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. – A suspected DUII driver is accused of crashing into several cars along SE 82nd Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Officers were called out about 5:45 p.m. on reports of a hit-and-run crash near SE 82nd and Foster Road. Witnesses held the suspected driver at the scene until officers arrived to take him into custody.

Based on initial information, 36-year-old Dustin Rowe crashed into several cars along 82nd Avenue before he was stopped.

Rowe was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on hit-and-run, DUII, and reckless driving charges. His bail is set at $10,000.
