Beaverton Police: Driver seriously injured in collision with semi-truck

ALOHA, Ore. – A driver was taken to a local hospital around noon Monday with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash involving an SUV and a semi-truck in Aloha.

The Beaverton Police Department responded to the report of the crash near the Costco on Southwest Jenkins Road around 11:50 a.m.

Emergency personnel closed Southwest Jenkins Road from Southwest 158th Avenue to Southwest 170th Avenue while they responded to the crash. The area was back open by about 1 p.m.

The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but police expect he or she will survive.
