LTD proposes later start, $5 fee for all Autzen Express rides during Oregon football games

    EUGENE, Ore. - Do you ride the Autzen Express to home Oregon Duck football games?

    The Lane Transit District wants to hear from you.

    LTD proposes to start the shuttle 3 hours before kickoff, rather than 4.

    LTD has also proposed a $5 per rider fare, charged to all riders - even those who have a valid LTD pass. "LTD passes will no longer be accepted for this premium bus service," according to the LTD proposal.

    You can comment on the proposal between now and August 15. A public hearing is scheduled for July 18.

    The Autzen Express provides non-stop service to Autzen from from 8 area Park & Ride locations before and after games, as well as during halftime.

    LTD said 8,000 to 10,000 fans ride Autzen Express to each home game.
