Former Oregon standout Colt Lyerla sentenced to additional 30 days for escape
Troubled former Oregon tight-end Colt Lyerla was sentenced to an additional 30 days in custody Tuesday, for his escape from custody last month.
Lyerla was also sentenced to three years of probation. Under the terms of his probation, Lyerla must immediately start drug treatment and counseling, submit to a mental health evaluation, and take a least two urine tests a week, among other requirements.
The court is allowing Lyerla to serve his time in custody in a drug treatment facility.
