EUGENE, Ore. - Eugene Police "increased their presence on campus" Tuesday after the department "received information about a veiled warning in a Snapchat post regarding North Eugene High School," according to a letter from the school principal to parents.

"The post did not make any specific threat, and after an investigation, no threat can be substantiated," Iton Udosenata wrote in the letter to parents at 7:56 a.m. "In an abundance of caution, EPD has increased their presence on campus to maintain a safe and secure school atmosphere so learning can continue as usual."

Udosenata wrote that "The username that posted the warning on Snapchat was 'Red Knights.'"

The principal asked anyone with information about the identity of the user to call (541) 682-5111.
