Robert Kraft, the owner of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, is facing two counts of soliciting another to commit prostitution.

Jupiter Police made the announcement during a news conference Friday morning.

Kraft's name is on the list of 25 people facing charges in connection to a crackdown on human trafficking and spa sex acts at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter.

"The NFL is aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments," the NFL said Friday in a statement.

The spa had been under surveillance since last November after police received complaints about it. On Tuesday morning, police roped off the spa with crime tape as officers went in and out of the business at the Jupiter Square Plaza near Indiantown Road and U.S. 1.

Property records show the owner of the spa as 58-year-old Hua Zhang, of Winter Garden, Florida. According to the arrest report, she faces one count of maintaining a house of prostitution, one count of renting space to be used for prostitution, one count of deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, and 26 counts of soliciting another to commit prostitution.

The other woman charged in the case is 39-year-old Lei Wang. She is charged with one count of maintaining a house of prostitution, one count of renting space to be used for prostitution, 26 counts of soliciting another to commit prostitution, and 26 counts of deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution.

Police would not say when the alleged acts took place, other than Kraft visited the spa on two separate occasions approximately a month ago. However, the arrest report for one of the employees at the spa has a surveillance video log, giving details on the guests and timeline of their visits. In January, Kraft's Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Jan. 13, in Foxborough. The Patriots defeated the Kansas City Chiefs a week later in Kansas City on Sunday, Jan. 20.

Police say Kraft will receive a notice in the mail if he lives in Palm Beach County. If he lives outside the county, Kraft would receive a warrant for his arrest. Police said the State Attorney's Office is working on the warrant. Soliciting another to commit prostitution is a second degree misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of 60 days in jail.

Police say Kraft is allegedly on video at the spa.

Kraft's Patriots won the Super Bowl in Atlanta earlier this month.

According to Forbes, Kraft is worth $6.6 billion. He bought the New England Patriots for $172 million in 1994 and turned it into a $3.7 billion franchise with six Super Bowl wins.

In a statement obtained by the Associated Press, a spokesperson for Kraft said they “categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.”
