World's 7th 'wellness' hotel set to open in Eugene in January
EUGENE, Ore. - Some say wellness is a way of life, including some University of Oregon alumni who are opening a new hotel in Eugene.
It's a new concept gaining traction and the owners hope it will continue to grow.
Even Hotels embodies wellness and fitness but you don't need to be a bodybuilder to stay there.
"No, not at all," Even Hotels Chief Wellness Officer Eugene Ryan said. "You can be whoever you want to be, we accept everybody, you don't even have to workout."
But if you do want to break a sweat.
"It makes me feel better, makes me function better," Keep active director Stefan Dobrijevic said.
Dobrijevic said then this is the perfect place for you.
"For me, fitness is a lifestyle," Dobrijevic said. "My friend used to say it used to be a chore and now it's a lifestyle."
Dobrijevic said the gym prides itself on it's state of the art 24/7 athletic studio.
A healthy kitchen and a fitness zone inside your hotel room, complete with a television that has 18 different workout channels.
"This brand is built around wellness," Dobrijevic said. "And Eugene just felt like a perfect fit for it."
Both of the coaches said whether you live nearby or not.
Want to work out or take it easy.
There's something for everyone at Even Hotels.
Ryan said the wellness hotel is set to open early to mid-January.
