Two men arrested for firing a gun in Eugene parking garage

EUGENE, Ore. — On Friday night, two men were arrested for firing shots in a parking garage in Eugene.

The men, later identified as Travis Scott Rich, 19, and Devon Matthew Bolton-Coulter, 23, were intoxicated on the 3rd floor of the Parcade at 700 Willamette.

For an undetermined reason, Rich shot a couple of rounds from a handgun. The two men fled on foot, and were quickly spotted by a patrol officer, who pursued them on foot.

The two men ran towards the Park Blocks, where other officers were waiting. Both men eventually complied with orders to get on the ground, and were taken into custody without incident.

Rich was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Use of a Firearm, three counts of Reckless Endangering, Interfering with a Peace Officer, Criminal Trespass II.
