Sheriff searching for missing man with autism and service dog

The sheriff said Johnathan Stillwagon, 19, was last seen near his home on Mason Way around 3 a.m. Thursday.

MEDFORD, Ore. – Search and rescue teams are looking for a young man missing since early Thursday morning, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said.

The sheriff said Johnathan Stillwagon, 19, was last seen near his home on Mason Way around 3 a.m. Thursday.

"Johnathan has autism and is traveling with his service dog, a six-month-old tan and white pit bull terrier," the sheriff's office said. "He likes to be in the mountains and may be trying to get to the Prospect area."

Stillwagon is 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He has shaved black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved button-up shirt and jeans.
