Police: Possible mountain lion sighting in Lebanon

LEBANON, Ore. -- Police say a possible mountain lion sighting was reported by a citizen Sunday morning.

Lebanon Police Department says a report was made by a resident walking on the Mark Slough Trail at 9:35 a.m. Sunday of a possible mountain lion going into the trees near Had Irvine Park.

Lebanon Police is asking everyone walking in the area and using the trails to use caution.

"If you see a mountain lion please do not approach it," the police department said in a news release.
