Oregon family found safe after being reported missing in Canada

BRITISH COLUMBIA – A family from Milwaukie, Ore. is safe after they were reported missing in the back country of British Columbia, reports from Canadian news outlets state.

Jeffery Phan and Michele Lesaca, were reported missing along with their two children after Royal Canadian Mounted Police said the family’s car was discovered abandoned by Dease Lake on Monday.

It appeared that their car had run out of gas and the family went off to get help. Records showed that they crossed the border into Canada on June 9.

According to Global News, the family was located on Wednesday near Kinaskan Lake, located about 200 miles east of Juneau, Alaska.
