Nutrition shop talks about staying true to fitness goals in 2018
EUGENE, Ore. - Getting healthy is a New Year's resolution for millions of Americans in 2018.
Max Muscle in Eugene has some tips if you want to complete your fitness goals for the New Year.
The owners are certified nutritionists.
They said no matter what diet or workout plan you pursue, stay with it for at least thirty days straight to make sure you're getting the results you desire.
If your goal is to get back into the gym, build up a certain level of intensity. That way you don't get discouraged and quit.
"It takes time," Muscle Max owner Derek Wiens said. "Especially losing weight, losing body fat that takes quite a bit of time so definitely don't get discouraged and try to stick with it."
Wiens said another big for getting in shape is to drink a lot water.
Muscle Max also offers free nutrition consultations and Wiens said they are more than happy to help out.
