SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - The Springfield Christmas Parade is back on for December 2.

Organizers will pick up the paperwork from Springfield Police Thursday afternoon.

Earlier this month, organizers announced the parade - an annual tradition since 1953 - was canceled due to a lack of volunteers.

That sparked a new group into action to save the parade - with a "Christmas Miracle" theme.

Organizers are accepting parade entries until November 20.

If you want to participate in the parade, visit the group's Facebook.
