Graffiti Weekend paints Roseburg with classic cars
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Residents of the Roseburg area are getting a blast from the past with the start of this year's Grafitti Weekend.
The event kicked off on the Fourth and continues through Sunday.
Graffiti Weekend has been around for nearly 40 years and is a major classic car gathering in the Pacific Northwest.
Some organizers are taking the car displays on the road to senior homes and citizens.
"The sheer joy - they start talking about their first dates and their first car and the things they did, 'Oh I had this car and I had that car'," said Leanya Maxfield, a retirement home coordinator.
The weekend features about 100 classic cars. | MORE INFO
