The statewide "freeze" to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Oregon ends December 2 - and a new framework for rating the risk levels in each of the state's 36 counties takes effect. Lane County is expected to start out in the Extreme Risk category, the most restrictive level. (OHA)

<p>Restaurants like the Glenwood (pictured) and Northwest Burgers are looking to turn sidewalks and parking spots into outdoor seating to accomodate diners. But tents and heaters will add to the cost of doing even limited business this winter. (SBG)</p>

Limited indoor dining would also be allowed in the High Risk category. Improvement to the High Risk category would also allow gyms and indoor recreation facilities, which must remain closed under Extreme Risk, to reopen at 25% capacity or 50 total people, whichever is smaller. (OHA)
