EUGENE, Ore. - The snow has begun to fall throughout Eugene, and with it comes a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service.
There is expected to be up to 2-3 inches of snow throughout the Willamette Valley, with flurries until 7 p.m. The showers will most likely be light and infrequent Saturday afternoon, and temperatures will warm above freezing.
"A band of more consistent showers will likely set up late this afternoon and evening, and rapidly lower temperatures back to freezing," said the National Weather Service. "This is when the additional snow accumulations can be expected."
The NWS says to plan on slippery road conditions, and to be dressed appropriately for colder temperatures in the mid 20's throughout the night.
