Firefighters rescue cat and turtle from burning Forest Grove home

FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Firefighters in Forest Grove are trying to find the cause of a house fire that started Tuesday night.

Fire officials responded to the house fire in the 3200 block of Main Street around 10:53 p.m.

When they arrived, they said the house was already well-involved in flames.

Firefighters worked to put out hot spots in the area.

Crews rescued a turtle and a cat from the burning home. They said no one was home at the time the fire started.
