BENTON COUNTY, Ore. - Carlos Garcia, the man who allegedly sexually abused a 14-year-old girl who was participating in the Junior Fire Program at Monroe Rural Fire Protection, has been arrested on charges of Sex Abuse II and two counts of Sex Abuse III.

Greg Ridler, the Benton County Undersheriff says these charges are solely regarding the 14-year-old victim through the fire program. He says there are no other known victims.

Ridler says that Garcia was arrested back in May during the initial investigation by a patrol deputy. He was released, and an additional investigation was conducted by detectives.

The Grand Jury returned with additional charges, and a warrant for his arrest was then issued.

According to the Benton County Jail Log, Garcia was arrested on Monday.
