Eugene has gone 257 days without the temperature dropping 32 degrees Fahrenheit or below.
The last time Eugene saw freezing temperatures was February 23, 2016.
Previously, the record was 242 consecutive days in 1935.
The Portland airport is in its second-longest consecutive streak. It hasn’t frozen for 278 days there.
Portland’s record is 296 consecutive days in 1983.
