Eugene Police: Woman hospitalized after she's stabbed during argument
EUGENE, Ore. -- A woman is recovering after Eugene Police say she was stabbed in an argument Thursday night.
EPD says the dispute turned violent around 11 p.m. in the 2100 block of Primrose Street in Eugene after the suspect, 51-year-old James Calhoun, reportedly slashed the woman's tires.
Police say the victim's friend was able to hold Calhoun down until police arrived.
The woman was taken to Riverbend Hospital but her status is currently unknown.
The cause of the dispute is still under investigation.
