EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon commencement ceremony is Monday and the huge event is expected to cause traffic trouble for morning commuters.

Thousands of students will celebrate graduation at the University of Oregon Monday. That means scores of family and friends will be flocking to campus to share in the special occasion.

The Duck Walk through campus begins at 8:15 a.m. and the ceremony in Matthew Knight Arena begins at 9:30 a.m.

If you plan on attending the events, the best way to get there could be parking your car at Autzen Stadium and catching a free shuttle to the ceremony.

The shuttle service starts at 7 a.m.

The university asks riders to be on a shuttle by 8:30 a.m. to avoid missing the start of commencement.

LTD says their buses will be operating on normal routes throughout the day.
