81-year-old man found safe in Eugene

If anyone has seen him, they are asked to call police at (541) 682-5111.

EUGENE, Ore. - Mr. Lillebo was located by the Eugene Police several miles from his home.

He was transported to UDH for a precautionary evaluation, but was otherwise unharmed.

Police made a public appeal for help Monday locating an 81-year-old man with Alzheimer's who left his home and has yet to return.

A family member told police that Bill Lillebo left his W. 26th Avenue home around 12:45 p.m. He has yet to return.

"His Alzheimer’s condition increases the concern for his well-being," police said in a statement.

Lillebo is 5-foot-6, 136 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a maroon-colored checkered colored shirt, a brown felt hat and glasses.
