Bus route between Eugene and Florence to start in early 2020

The bus will offer 2 roundtrips daily, 7 days per week - one in the morning, the other in the evening. Plans call for a third mid-day run 4 days per week. (SBG)

{p}Kelly Clarke with the Lane Council of Governments expects ridership to be good, based on the strong response from a survey conducted in 2018. "You know, wanting to get back and forth for recreational opportunities, tourism, commutes for their jobs, for shopping," Clarke said. "This route will connect with the city of Florence where the Rhody Express has its north to south loop and where the Yachats to Florence connector meets." (SBG){/p}
