Boy whose family turned his fight against cancer into fight for all children, dies
VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) - A Vancouver boy fighting two different types of cancer has died.
Declan Reagan’s family said Declan died Monday morning surrounded by his parents and brother.
They say he lived his life to the fullest, inspiring everyone he met.
KATU first brought the five-year-old’s story to you last year. That’s when he was in remission but then diagnosed with leukemia and underwent a bone marrow transplant.
Throughout his journey, Declan’s family made a huge effort to give back to other kids fighting cancer in part through the Declan the Dinosaur Foundation, blood drives and bone registry efforts.
