ROSEBURG, Ore. - A 16-year-old faces three counts of Aggravated Murder after deputies responded to a report a homicide and found three people dead in the Lookingglass area southwest of Roseburg Tuesday night.

Deputies arrested Kevin Wayne Adams, 16, and booked him into the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Facility, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said.

Adams is a junior at Roseburg High School, where he enrolled in school in the 9th grade.

The sheriff's office described Adams as "the person responsible for the homicide of the three individuals in the 400-block of Whispering Pines Way in Roseburg."

"At this time the victims' names, ages and addresses are being withheld until the Douglas County Medical Examiner's Office makes positive identification and appropriate next of kin notifications," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

The sheriff expected to have more information by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
