If you have a fear of clowns, turn away now.

The first look at Bill Skarsgård's Pennywise clown was released by Entertainment Weekly Wednesday.

It's seriously creepy.

And it's best not to stare at him for too long.

"It" is the 2017 remake of the 1990 horror classic of the same name.

"In a small town in Maine, seven children known as The Losers Club come face to face with life problems, bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise," reads the official IMDB synopsis.

As if puberty weren't difficult enough, right?

The original Pennywise was played by Tim Curry and is considered one of King's Top 10 scariest characters ever written.
