According to the Blue Buffalo Foundation, cancer is the number one disease-related killer of dogs and cats across the country.

Early warning signs of pet cancer include swollen lymph nodes, a growing lump, extreme weight loss, abdominal distention and bad breath.

A few things you can do with your pet to help prevent cancer include keeping your dogs and cats active and limiting them to toxins around the house.
