Sassy with granddaughter this summer

Laura Hilscher and her family are offering a reward for information on finding who murdered their horse on Thursday, September 29th.

The horse was found dead on Friday morning, September 30th, from a gunshot.

Sassy, a quarter mare, was one of five horses the family owned and use to belong to a rodeo clown prior to finding the family.

Klamath County Sheriffs Office were contacted the morning the horse was found dead.

Hilscher believes her horse was killed by hunters since deer hunting season began last week.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Klamath Sheriff's Office.
