Beards be gone! Grow Your Mo raises thousands for local cancer patients

Anthony Kustura’s beard was on display and collected $233 in votes.

EUGENE, Ore. - The numbers are in the for the Grow Your Mo campaign. The beards and mustaches grown around the community helped to raise a total of $6,100.

All the proceeds go to support the Oregon Cancer Foundation.

This year, KMTR NewsSource 16's men grew out their facial hair in support of the cause. Anthony Kustura's beard was on display and collected $233 in votes.

He finally shaved it all off on December first when the campaign ended.

All the money raised through the event stays in Lane County to benefit local campus patients.
