EUGENE, Ore. - A semi hauling lumber tipped over on Roosevelt Boulevard on Wednesday morning, disrupting traffic west of Bertelsen Road.
Eugene Police said the load of lumber on the Rexius semi-truck shifted, causing the crash.
Lumber fell onto the road and hit a side barrier, but there was no damage, police added.
"He was coming around a corner. We just loaded a block down the road and the top bundles exploded," said Arlen Rexius, the company's president. "According to witnesses, they were strapped and the straps came apart and pulled the trailer over."
No injuries were reported.
Roosevelet reopened to traffic after the scene was cleared.
