Police: Occupants critically injured in four-vehicle crash on I-84

PENDLETON, Ore. – Oregon State Police troopers responded to a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 eastbound in Morrow County Thursday afternoon.

Troopers from the Pendleton Area Command responded to a report of crash near milepost 156 around 12:06 a.m.

When they arrived, they found one commercial motor vehicle, one passenger car, one pickup truck and one pickup truck towing a trailer were all involved in a crash.

Medical personnel transported six people to various regional hospitals. Their injuries ranged from minor to critical, police said.

Troopers from the Pendleton Area Command and Oregon State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit will continue investigating.

The crash closed the interstate for approximately three and a half hours while police investigated and removed the crashed vehicles.
