EUGENE, Ore. - A driver lost control of his car on the Ferry Street Bridge and crashed early Tuesday morning.
Neither the driver nor his passenger suffered significant injuries, police said.
Police said Daniel Paulfrank Griffin, 24, lost control of the 1992 Toyota Camry he was driving southbound over the bridge.
The car slid into the center median and turned onto its side.
"The vehicle subsequently broke a City of Eugene street sign and caused minor damage to a utility box during the crash," police said.
Police arrested Griffin on charges of Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering and Criminal Mischief, as well as a warrant.
