A Wyoming man was sentenced to 60 months in prison following his 10th DUII conviction.

Andrew Mascarenas, 50, of Cheyenne, Wyoming was found guilty of felony DUII and reckless driving earlier this week.

Police say he left a strip club around 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 14, 2018 and drove down the Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway in the wrong direction. He nearly struck another driver, and when he was pulled over, claimed he only had two beers during 5.5 hours he spent at the strip club.

He refused to take a sobriety test or breath test.

Mascarenas has 9 prior DUII convictions between 1990 and 2012. He was sentenced to the maximum of 60 months in prison, and the judge added Mascarenas should stay away from drinking or driving as long as possible.
