A child was killed in a northern Idaho crash along Interstate-90.

Idaho State Police says Heather K. Scott-Mason, 36, of Clatskanie, Ore., was heading east when she lost control, over corrected and rolled her Nissan Murano just before 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Two children were inside the vehicle, one of which died at the scene.

Scott-Mason and the other child were taken to Shoshone Medical in Kellogg. It's unclear whether the child who died was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
