Tee It Up: Pull out the 'Texas Wedge'
This is my favorite segment so far: Justin Darnell from the Springfield Golf Club teaches me how to use the Texas Wedge (I didn't even know that was a term in golf, but it is!).
Hole 3 (Par 4)
Teeing Off From the Blues: 402 yards
The Goal: On the green in 2 and 2 putt
Obstacles: Water on the right of the fairway and bunkers near the green.
Tips: It's a pretty straight shot from the tee box to the green. So aim straight the whole way and you will be fine!
For Example: I teed off with a driver. My drive went straight and in the fairway so I used a 5 iron which got me around 110 yards from the green. I used an 8 iron to get me on the green. Unfortunately I did not make it on the green but I did avoid the bunker. My ball landed in the rough on the side of the green. I hate chipping so I pulled out the Texas Wedge!
