Friday Night Fever Game of the Week: Lebanon vs. Corvallis
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Lebanon took on Corvallis Friday night in a heated rivalry matchup.
It all came down to the fourth quarter with 55 seconds left in the game and Corvallis up by 6.
Ty Hargis from Lebanon brought it down to a three-point game, but he was far from done.
With 10.7 seconds left on the clock, the Warriors were down 60-57. Hargis got the pass from Brandon Gonyea and he scored with 6 seconds left, taking the two teams into overtime.
In overtime, it was the Spartans taking control. Kalib Graham lost control of the ball and Hans Ellenson took it to the basket.
Corvallis held a one-point lead with just over a minute to go.
The game was tied 67-67 in the final 10 seconds of overtime. Hargis walked it down the court and buried the basket.
Lebanon pulled of the upset with a 70-67 final score.
