Police: Coos Bay woman arrested after reportedly assaulting pregnant daughter
COOS BAY, Ore. -- A Coos Bay woman was arrested after she reportedly assaulted her pregnant daughter, Coos County Sheriff's Office said.
Just before 6 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a residence on McKenna Lane for a reported assault and found a 32-year-old woman outside the residence with apparent injuries.
Police said she was 8 months pregnant.
The woman reported she was attacked, including being kneed in the stomach, by her biological mother who was currently living with her and her boyfriend.
The victim was transported via ambulance to Bay Area Hospital for medical treatment.
The suspect, 52-year-old Rebecca D. Landis, was located inside the residence and arrested.
She was charged with two counts of Felony Assault IV and one count of Reckless Endangering.
She was transported to Coos County Jail where she's being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
