Police arrest three suspects passed out in stolen vehicle

Three suspects were arrested on multiple charges after being found passed out inside a stolen vehicle at the Fred Meyer's parking lot in Brookings on Thursday.

Brookings Police on scene determined that the three suspects identified as Cassandra Jean Rhodes,29, of Smith River, Ca., Justin William Sager, 25, and Robert Jerymi Sinnott, 39, both of Cresent City, Ca. had active warrants for their arrest.

An investigation revealed that the car had been stolen out of Crescent City, Ca. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and found drug paraphernalia, stolen and suspected stolen property.

All arrested for the following warrants:

  • Sinnott was arrested for dangerous drugs, theft in the 1st and 2nd degree out of Deschutes County.
  • Sager, possession of burglary tools, possession of drug possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and probation violation for a weapons offense out of Del Norte County, California.
  • Rhodes, unauthorized used of a motor vehicle out of Linn County.

All three suspects were lodged into the Curry County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected to be added.
