NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - A man eating dinner at Opry Mills Mall went on a rampage causing thousands of dollars in damage.

A man got up from the table he was eating at with his mom at the Macaroni Grill on Friday and went to the stage in the mall outside the restaurant and destroyed a guitar and other musical equipment, as well as, busted a window and a light-up sign, according to the police affidavit. Police took him into custody without incident.

Jail records identify the man as 30-year-old Gerrod Hathaway. It is unclear what prompted his behavior.

No one was injured.

An onlooker captured the incident on video.

Hathaway was booked into the Davidson County Jail on four counts of vandalism. He has since been released on bond and is due in court on Tuesday.
