Texas mom 'saur-prised' by what she thinks are drugs in daughter's drawer
(WBFF) - A Texas mom got quite the "saur-prize" when what she believed were drugs found in her daughter's drawer were immersed in water.
The exchange between mother and daughter went viral when posted by the teen on Twitter.
The text exchange begins when a teen named Ashley asks her mother to go into her nightstand to look for a calculator. Her mom sends back a photo of brightly colored capsules in a plastic bag.
"What are these?" the next message reads. Mom continues, "Ashley Carol I will not have drugs in my house. Come home right now. As soon as your dad comes home from California we will discuss your consequences. As for now your grounded and you will not be leaving the house, come home this instant."
Ashley responds with laughing emojis.
"Mom they arnt drugs lol," she texts back. "Go put them in water."
A picture text from mom confirms it.
"Never mind. You don't have to come home," Mom replies, under her photo of "magic foam" dinosaurs, which emerged from their water capsules.
The conversation, tweeted by @acbanks3 on June 3, has since been retweeted more than 42,000 times.
