Graduating eighth grader absolutely nails Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders impressions
And his Hillary Clinton isn't so bad either.
The 2016 election cycle has produced a number of characters that have infiltrated our living rooms, airwaves and social media streams. Luckily, this bright Chicago teenager was paying attention.
About 350 graduating eighth graders were asked to prepare speeches for the school's commencement ceremony. This boy -- one of four picked in his class -- blew the lid off the school gym by delivering spot-on impersonations of presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, Democrats Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a one-liner from Sen. Ted Cruz.
The boy, whose father asked he not be named in this story, has been watching the campaigns closely. So much so in fact the 14-year-old knows about Trump's penchant for bringing up all things China and Sanders's Democratic Socialist views on the revolution.
"He has a passion for politics," the boy's father said.
The family actually traveled to Iowa for the caucuses at the boy's request, his father added.
The boy's next stop is high school, but one wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at "Saturday Night Live."
