Bond hearing waived for quadruple homicide suspect; preliminary hearing set

A bond hearing was waived for the man accused of killing four of his family members in Lawrence County, Ohio.

Arron Lawson, 23, of Ironton was charged with three counts of murder and one count of aggravated murder in the killings of three adults and one child. A bond hearing was delayed in Ironton Municipal Court Monday afternoon. The bond hearing was waived pending indictment charges that could come Wednesday.

Prosecutors said they will seek the death penalty against Lawson for the murder of 8-year-old Devin Holston. Donald McGuire, 50, Tammie L. McGuire, 43, and Stacey M. Jackson, 24, all of Pedro, Ohio, also were found dead with gunshot wounds in the home Wednesday night. Todd Holsten, husband to Stacey and father to Devin, also suffered stab wounds.

Lawson is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Ironton Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Thursday.
