Wells Fargo sells 40-story downtown Portland building
PORTLAND, Ore. —
Wells Fargo no longer owns Portland's tallest building.
The company has sold its 40-story building at 1300 SW Fifth Ave. to a controlled affiliate of Starwood Capital Group, a global private investment firm.
Wells Fargo plans to lease back space and continue to be the building's anchor tenant, keeping its bank branch and history museum. The tower will also keep its name.
The sale includes a five-story operations building across the street from the center at 350 SW Jefferson St.
