UO grad students share fruits of research, creative work
EUGENE, Ore. - Graduate students at the University of Oregon showcased their work Friday at the 6th Annual Graduate Research Forum.
Over 150 graduate students filled the Ford Alumni Center with timed panel presentations and poster sessions throughout the day.
Students from every college and school in the University presented their creative work and research.
Organizers say the forum is a great opportunity for the campus and community members to connect with graduate students.
"They actually had to go out and find collaborators from other departments, bring it together and build a panel and talk about really important things - climate change, sexual assault is being addressed in one of our panels those types of issues are being addressed by out graduate students," said Andy Berglund, interim dean of the UO graduate school.
