Police ID victims in Grants Pass Parkway fatal crash

A fatal two-vehicle crash closed U.S. 199 Parkway milepost .69 in Grants Pass between M and F Streets on Friday morning.

Emergency crews on scene located a two-car crash in the northbound lanes of the Parkway.

The driver of the first vehicle was identified as 87-year-old Henry Clinton was taken to Three Rivers Medical Center with major injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle identified as 85-year-old Williawease Clinton was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

The driver of the second vehicle has been identified as 54-year-old Raul Orozco of Grants Pass was conscious when emergency crews arrived. He was treated and released at Three Rivers Medical Center.


The Parkway was closed between Northeast F Street and Southeast M Street while the scene was investigated and the vehicles were removed.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Grants Pass Department of Public Safety at 541-450-6260.

All lanes are now open at this time.
