Street repairs to close portions of Spring Boulevard in Eugene on Friday
EUGENE, Ore. -- On Friday, June 15, crews will pave portions of Spring Boulevard, from 27th to 29th avenues.
Due to the narrow roadway and the large equipment needed for the project, access will be limited for preparation and construction.
- June 14 – no on-street parking, drivers should expect delays
- June 15 – Road closed, including to bicycles, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed through. No on-street parking.
People living near this project are urged to make necessary arrangements to prepare for the road closure, the City said.
Most small maintenance-type paving projects are completed in a few days, officials say.
"Eugene Public Works' intent is to minimize inconvenience for people living in and around the road work," the department said.
