South Eugene High School evacuated after 3 small fires inside building

EUGENE, Ore. - All students and staff evacuated South Eugene High School on Friday morning while firefighters and police investigated three small fires inside the school, fire officials said at the scene.

Battalion Chief Lance Lighty said the three small fires were immediately extinguished.

The Eugene 4J School District tweeted that the fires were in a bathroom.

Lighty said fire investigators are on their way.

Students could be seen standing in a field outside the school.
