Sheriff: Suspect in armed robbery in custody
EUGENE, Ore. - A man faces accusations he robbed a market near Fern Ridge Reservoir and a gas station on Highway 99 in Eugene, the Lane County Sheriff's Office said.
Eugene Police took Adam Bradley Smith, 29, of Cheshire into custody Thursday night.
Smith faces 2 counts of first degree robbery.
Officers contacted Smith near Royal and Danebo avenues and determined he had active warrants out for his arrest - and had been identified as a person of interest in the sheriff's robbery investigation, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies arrested Smith in connection with the armed robbery at the Alvadore Market on Tuesday and a robbery at the Chevron on Highway 99 and Irving Road on Thursday.
The sheriff's office is still looking for additional information about an armed robbery at the Fern Ridge Market on Sunday. Investigators said Tuesday they suspect that robbery and the Alvadore robbery are connected.
